Calendar
Events
Create, find and open events; the event list with its filters; and the deadlines and holidays that appear alongside them.
On this page
Events are the meetings and appointments on your calendar, whether you created them in Unobits or they synced from Google Calendar.
Create an event#
Choose the new-event button in Calendar. Give the event a title, when (start and end, or all day), a location, guests and a description, then save. Events you create can sync to Google Calendar if it is connected.
The events list#
Calendar → Events lists every event in range in a table — event, when, type, location, guests, status — with actions on each.
- Search titles, locations, descriptions and organisers.
- Filter to events from cloud (synced from Google) or overlapping ones.
- Show on the grid jumps to the event on the calendar; Open event shows its details.
The events list has its own search because calendar events are not part of global search.
Deadlines and holidays#
Task and project deadlines appear on the calendar alongside events so that work and meetings are in one view. They stay owned by Projects — change a deadline in the task or project, not in Calendar. Public holidays come from the holiday calendar in your personal settings.
Events and automations#
- An automation can create an event — the Meeting text to event template turns a meeting mentioned in chat into a calendar event.
- Event created, event updated and event deleted are triggers.
