Reach
Reach settings
General defaults, Autopilot, what Donna may do in Reach, SMS, sending safety and compliance settings — and who can change them.
On this page
Reach → Settings answers one question: what are we allowed to send, from what, and how much. It has six sections.
- Who
- Manage Reach (Owners and Admins by default)
- Where
- Reach → Settings (
/clients/reach/settings)
General#
What every campaign starts from:
- New campaigns send from — the default sender.
- Footer on every email — added to campaign emails.
- When messages may go out — the workspace's sending hours: days, times and time zone, and how many minutes to spread sends by. A mailbox can set its own hours in Senders. A message due outside the hours waits rather than being dropped.
Autopilot#
What Reach keeps doing without anybody opening it:
- Autopilot is on — while off, nothing below runs, and nothing is read or brought across unless somebody asks.
- Read every business Discovery finds — its home page and up to three contact or about pages, for the addresses and numbers it publishes. Set at most this many a day, out of the workspace's daily reading allowance. Reading costs no credits.
- Bring the people it finds into Leads — held as research only: nobody found this way can be enrolled until somebody clears them and records why. Choose a list to file them in.
Autopilot works from what Discovery finds, and Discovery only looks for what a standing search asks for — save one on the Discovery page first.
Donna#
Choose whether Donna can work in Reach. While this is off she can still talk about Reach but reads and does nothing in it. When it is on, each thing she can do — reading and acting — has its own switch, named in advance, so nothing she does here is a surprise. Actions still need your approval. See Actions and approvals.
SMS#
Register your business and use case with carriers, and see your numbers. A number can only send under an approved use case. See Senders → Numbers.
Sending safety#
What Reach will let you send: each sender's calculated safe volume, what will stop a campaign, and what has been stopped. These numbers are worked out, not chosen. See Sending safety and limits.
Compliance#
How opt-outs work, the SMS consents recorded, and the rule that an opt-out outranks every other basis. See Eligibility, consent and opt-outs.
