Templates
Saved messages built in the composer — plain text for cold email, designed blocks for newsletters — and playbooks, the saved journeys campaigns start from.

Reach → Templates holds two kinds of saved work, named apart:

Messages#
Build a message in the same composer as a journey step:
- Write mode sends plain paragraphs — right for cold outreach, where a designed layout reads as marketing.
- Design mode builds a laid-out email from blocks: text, banner, image, button, divider and spacer. Images you upload (PNG, JPEG, WebP or GIF, up to 5 MB) are stored publicly so they load in the recipient's inbox.
- Insert merge tags for the recipient's details; they fill in at send time.
- Draft with Donna writes a first version for you to edit.
Using a message in a step copies it. Editing the step never changes the saved message, and editing the saved message never changes a step that already used it.
Playbooks#
A playbook is a copy of a journey kept so future campaigns can start from it. Create one from a campaign's Setup → Save as playbook. Starting a campaign from a playbook copies it again, so playbooks and campaigns never change each other.
