Sync with Google Calendar

Connect Google Calendar so events flow both ways, and what to expect from sync today. Outlook and Apple calendars are not yet supported.

Connect#

  1. In Calendar, choose Connect Google Calendar in the toolbar (you can also connect it from Integrations).

  2. Sign in to Google in the pop-up and allow access. Allow pop-ups for Unobits if nothing appears.

  3. When asked Pull events from Google Calendar?, choose to pull all events for the current year into Unobits, or skip and let new changes sync from now.

How sync works#

  • From Google to Unobits — Google notifies Unobits when your calendar changes, and Unobits pulls the changes. Events that came from Google are marked from cloud in the Events list.
  • From Unobits to Google — events you create or change in Unobits are pushed to your Google calendar.
  • Sync now re-pulls on demand if something looks out of step.

Google events stay yours: connecting your calendar does not show your events to the rest of the organization.

Disconnect#

Disconnect Google Calendar from Integrations. Events already pulled into Unobits remain; new changes stop syncing.

What is not supported yet#

If Google and Unobits disagree, see Integration and sync problems.
