Route access, presets and approvals

The company route matrix, permission presets, explicit grants, owner-sensitive permissions and the approval requests that ask an owner first.

Access is where you decide which parts of the app each person can reach, and what they can do there.

Shared integrations, finance, admin access, destructive chat controls and shared system settings should never be assumed from a regular role. They are owner-sensitive: only the Owner grants them.

The company route matrix#

The matrix lists each company module, the permission that opens it, the staff who typically need it, and why it exists. Use it to review who can reach what.

Presets#

Start someone from a recommended preset — Designer, Accountant, Manager, Developer, Marketer, Virtual Assistant, Sales, Support, Operations, Executive, Delegated Admin — then adjust. Every preset is listed in the Permissions reference.

Owner approvals#

Sensitive changes made by someone other than the Owner wait here. The Owner sees who asked, what they want and their note, and chooses Approve or Reject, optionally with a note back.
