Slides is for presentations: build slides from layouts and themes, write speaker notes, and present full screen.
Build a deck#
- Add slide, Duplicate slide, Delete slide, and move slides earlier or later.
- Choose a Slide layout — Title slide, Title and content, Section break, Blank — and a Theme: Classic, Midnight, Sky or Sunset.
- Slide size: Widescreen 16:9 or Standard 4:3, with centre guides to line things up.
Objects on a slide#
Insert pictures, rectangles, ellipses and text boxes. Move and resize them with the mouse or keyboard, rotate and flip pictures, crop them, set fill, outline and text styling, duplicate, delete, and bring forward or send backward. Give pictures a description for people using screen readers.
Present#
Write Speaker notes under each slide, then Present. Before you present, Slides points out anything to check — such as a slide that is too dense to read, or a live figure that no longer matches its record.
Import and export#

When you import a presentation, Review presentation conversion lists anything that was converted or left out before you accept it.
