Invoice to payment
Send an invoice with a pay link, take the payment online or record it by hand, reconcile it against the bank and follow up what is late.

Send an invoice, get it paid, and make sure the money in the bank matches what Finance says.
Step by step#
Create the invoice#
In Finance → Receivables, choose New invoice, or Create invoice on a CRM record. Choose the customer, add lines and a due date. It stays a Draft — outside your books — until you send it.
Send it#
Send posts the invoice, numbers it, and emails it with the PDF and a View and pay link from your organization’s invoice sender. If delivery fails, Try again is on the invoice.
Take the payment#
- Online — the customer pays by card through the link; the payment comes back and settles the invoice by itself.
- By hand — for a transfer, cash or cheque, record a payment with its date, amount, method and reference. Part payments are fine.
Chase what is late#
Overdue invoices stay in Receivables until paid. Send reminder emails the customer; reminders are not automatic yet. Cash owed to you in Reports shows who owes what, and how late.
Match it to the bank#
Import your bank statement. A line for a payment you already recorded is matched to it, not counted twice; a line that pays an open invoice settles it. See Bank accounts and reconciliation.
