Donna, the Unobits assistant

Donna works inside your workspace with your permissions — answering from your records, drafting, planning and taking actions you approve item by item.

Donna is the assistant built into Unobits. She works inside your workspace with your access — no more and no less — so she can answer from your real records, draft and plan, and make changes you approve. What she produces is real: a task she creates is a task in Projects, an email she sends is in your Sent folder.

What Donna is good for#

  • Answers from your business — “How many open deals do we have?”, “Who owes us money?”, “What’s on my calendar tomorrow?”. She reads the records you can open and shows which ones she used.
  • Drafts — replies, summaries, notes, campaign copy, in your workspace’s words.
  • Doing the work — “We just signed ACME: create a project, three onboarding tasks and email Sara the kickoff note.” She lists exactly what she will do; you tick and approve once.
  • Finding and going — “Take me to the ACME opportunity.” She searches and opens the record.
  • Plans and research — a sequenced plan you can turn into tasks, or a finding from the web compared with your own numbers.

How she decides what she may do#

  1. Permissioncan you open this part of Unobits? If not, neither can she — and no mode or password changes that
  2. Modereading is always allowed; changing anything needs your go-ahead
  3. Risksensitive actions, such as sending email, also ask for your password when you have that turned on
