Troubleshooting
Integration and sync problems
A connection says its credential is no longer accepted, events stopped arriving, Google Calendar is out of step, or files did not transfer.
On this page
When a connection to another service stops working, the cause is usually an expired sign-in, a background update that lapsed, or something that is not supported yet.
Google Calendar is out of step#
| Symptom | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| New Google events stopped appearing | Google’s update notifications lapsed; they are not renewed automatically yet | Choose Import Google events again in Calendar settings |
| The import said background updates could not be set up | Google did not accept the request | Your events were still saved. Import again later |
| Only some of my calendars came across | Only your primary Google calendar is imported | Not supported yet |
| My Outlook or iCloud calendar is not there | Only Google Calendar is supported | Not supported yet |
| Nothing happens when I connect | The browser blocked the sign-in pop-up | Allow pop-ups for Unobits and try again |
See Import from Google Calendar.
A mailbox stopped receiving or sending#
Reconnect it in Email → Accounts: sign in to Gmail or Outlook again, or re-enter your SMTP and IMAP details. A mailbox connected with SMTP but no IMAP can send but cannot see new mail or replies. See Email and Email problems.
An automation step that uses Google fails#
Append to Google Sheets, Create event in Google Calendar and Save attachment to Google Drive use your Google connection. If it has expired, reconnect Google and run the automation again. See Runs, errors and retries.
Webhooks are not arriving#
- Into an automation — check the address uses the right automation and token. A
401means the token is wrong; a403means it belongs to a different automation. See Webhooks in and out. - Out of Unobits — outgoing webhook deliveries are not retried. If your endpoint was down, the event is not sent again.
Booking channels show the wrong nights#
Channel calendars (Airbnb, Booking.com) are read again when Bookings is opened, at most every half hour; there is no background refresh yet. Open Bookings to pick up changes. See Resources → Channels.
