Donna, the Unobits assistant

Donna and credits

What Donna’s work draws on, why showing her thinking costs more, and where you and your admins see her usage.

Updated 2 November 2026

Talking to Donna draws on a monthly AI allowance for each person, set by your plan. It is separate from the organization’s shared credit pool, so one person using up their allowance never locks anyone else out of Donna.

PlanAI allowance per person, per month
Solo500,000 tokens
Pro2,000,000 tokens
EnterpriseUnlimited

A token is a small piece of text — roughly three-quarters of a word. Both what you send (including attachments and the records Donna reads) and what she writes count.

What uses more#

  • Show thinking — streaming her reasoning adds to every reply.
  • Thinking time: Deep — more considered answers, more tokens.
  • Long attachments and questions that read many records.

A quick question in Assistance is cheap; a long research or planning session is not.

Seeing your usage#

The composer in the Donna flyout shows how much of this month’s allowance you have used.

When you run out#

Donna tells you: “You’ve used your AI token allowance for this month. Ask an admin to raise your budget to keep chatting with Donna.” Your allowance resets at the start of the next month.

Raising someone’s allowance#

An Owner or Admin can change any person’s allowance in Admin → Usage, under Donna usage: type a new monthly number and choose Set. Leave it empty to go back to the plan’s default. The same table shows how much each person has used and what they used it on.

Credit top-ups add to the organization’s shared pool, which pays for calls, campaigns and integrations — see Credits and usage.
