Donna, the Unobits assistant
What Donna knows about your business
The areas of the workspace Donna can read, how she queries them without writing SQL, and why she only ever sees what you could open yourself.
On this page
Donna reads your workspace the same way the app does: through the records you are allowed to open. She never writes database queries; she names what she wants — “open deals over $10,000” — and Unobits fetches only the rows you could see yourself.
What she can read#
| Area | Records |
|---|---|
| CRM | Opportunities, people, companies, clients and calls |
| Work | Projects and tasks |
| Calendar | Your events |
| Bookings | Bookings and booking types |
| Finance | Invoices |
| Inventory | Items |
| Content | Files, notes and whiteboards |
| Communications | Email, Inbox items, social threads and messages |
| Activity | The Timeline |
| Outreach | Sequences and their steps, enrolments, sends, marketing contacts and events |
| Web | Websites, their health, and Web Elements |
| Digital Twin | The Twin’s current picture of your business |
She can also search the whole workspace, like global search, and open a record for you.
What she sees in each record#
Only what you could see:
- Areas — if your account does not include Finance, she cannot read invoices, and she tells you plainly instead of trying.
- Rows — private files, other people’s mailboxes and calendars stay private. Ask about a colleague’s private file and you get nothing, not their data.
- Fields — modules that hide fields hide them from her too. Bookings, for example, never gives her customers’ contact details or prices.
What she knows about where you are#
The flyout tells her which page you are on and what is in view, so “summarise this” means the thread or record in front of you. Attachments you add are part of that conversation.
Your words, not ours#
Donna is given your workspace’s vocabulary and, if your Admin has written one, a short description of the business. See Control Donna for your organization.
